AyatFlow on iPhone
AyatFlow for iPhone is still being prepared for the App Store. Until it is there, early testers can install a test version on their own iPhone. It takes about fifteen minutes, needs a computer, and comes with limits you should know about first.
This is an early test version. It may have rough edges, and it has to be refreshed every seven days (explained below). If you would rather wait for the App Store version, that is a perfectly good choice.
What you need
- An iPhone running iOS 15.6 or newer
- A Windows PC or a Mac, and a USB cable
- A free Apple ID. A spare one is a good idea, because the signing tool asks for it
- The AyatFlow test file (a
.ipa). Email us and we will send you the link.
Install it with Sideloadly
Sideloadly is a free tool that signs the app with your own Apple ID and puts it on your phone.
- Windows only: install iTunes and iCloud from apple.com. Use Apple's own downloads, not the Microsoft Store versions.
- Download and install Sideloadly from sideloadly.io.
- Connect your iPhone with the cable. If asked, tap Trust on the phone.
- On the iPhone, turn on Developer Mode: Settings, Privacy & Security, Developer Mode. The phone restarts, then asks you to confirm.
- Open Sideloadly, drag the AyatFlow
.ipafile onto it, and enter your Apple ID. - Press Start. Enter your Apple ID password, and the two-factor code if asked.
- When it finishes, on the iPhone go to Settings, General, VPN & Device Management, tap your Apple ID, and tap Trust.
- Open AyatFlow.
What to expect
- It expires after seven days. A free Apple ID can only sign an app for a week. After that it will not open until you repeat the steps above. Your progress is normally kept when you refresh it, but do not rely on that for anything you cannot lose.
- Three apps at a time. A free Apple ID can have three sideloaded apps on one phone.
- It is not for everyone. This route suits one phone, or a few testers. It is not a way to share the app with a large group.
Other tools
| Tool | Good for |
|---|---|
| AltStore | Refreshes the app for you over Wi-Fi while a small helper runs on your computer, so you do not have to repeat the steps each week. |
| SideStore | Like AltStore, but after the first setup it can refresh on the phone itself. More technical to set up. |
Only install AyatFlow files that come from this website or from us. A file from anywhere else could be anything.
Why not the App Store yet?
Putting an app on the App Store, or sharing it through TestFlight, needs Apple's paid developer programme. AyatFlow is made by a very small team and we are not there yet. When we are, this page will point you to the App Store, and the steps above will no longer be needed.
